Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Rishta IQ (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be of legal marriageable age in India (18+ for women, 21+ for men), of sound mind, and legally permitted to enter into a marriage under the laws applicable to you. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.

• You are responsible for keeping your password secret.
• One person, one account. Profiles created for a child or sibling (“profile_for”) are allowed but the responsible adult must own the account.
• Provide truthful information. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts containing false, misleading, or impersonated content.

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, defame, or send obscene content to other users.
• Misrepresent yourself, including age, marital status, photos, religion, caste, income, or qualifications.
• Solicit money, gifts, or sexual content from other members.
• Collect or scrape other users' information.
• Use the Service for any commercial matchmaking, recruiting, or solicitation business.
• Attempt to break, reverse-engineer, or bypass the Service's security.

Violations may result in immediate suspension, account deletion, and where appropriate, report to law-enforcement authorities.

You retain ownership of the photos and text you upload. You grant Rishta IQ a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and process this content solely to operate the Service (showing your profile to other members, generating compatibility scores, etc.).

Compatibility scores, AI insights, and kundli/astro indicators are for informational and reflective use only. They are not a guarantee of marital success or failure. Use them as a starting point for honest conversation with your prospective partner and family, not as a substitute for personal judgment, professional counselling, or religious guidance.

Some features (e.g. unlocking the detailed compatibility report) are paid. Prices and inclusions are shown at the point of purchase. All payments are in Indian Rupees, are inclusive of applicable taxes, and are processed by our payment gateway. Digital reports, once generated and delivered, are non-refundable except where required by law or where the report could not be generated due to a fault on our side.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice, depending on the severity of the violation.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and accuracy. We do not guarantee that you will find a partner or that any match will lead to marriage.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rishta IQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising under or in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi, India.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app banner. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
